Employees are equipped with an MDE device such as the Zebra TC52/TC56 or the TC72/TC77 and a mobile COSYS Transport App. Thanks to COSYS´ many years of experience in the industry, the Transport App offers predefined process sequences and tells the driver in which order he should load the transport vehicle. All important tour data is transferred either directly from the ERP system or from a standalone tour planning system from COSYS. To do this, the driver first selects the tour he is to drive on the MDE device and is then shown all customers and tour stops. For optimal delivery, packages are loaded in reverse delivery order so that packages from the first tour stop are loaded last. For this purpose, the driver first scans all packages during each loading to ensure that all shipments have also been transferred to the tour and that no package is left in the warehouse. If the specified loading sequence is not adhered to, the COSYS app reports an error with a reference to the reason. During delivery, the driver first selects the customer who was approached and scans the packages one after the other. If damage occurred during transport, it is documented with the device camera and the COSYS app. Finally, proof of delivery is provided via the app, with the customer digitally documenting the handover with a signature.
In addition, the transport software from COSYS also consists of a web-based tool for administration, data management and transport controlling. The COSYS WebDesk is the tool for dispatchers and illustrates important tour information such as tour and package status, signatures and photos in tables and graphics. With the WebDesk you have all insights live in real time and have everything that happens on a tour under control. Whether loading failed, damaged goods, delivery cancelled or delivery failed, with COSYS you have even problems in view and can intervene quickly and easily.

The loading equipment management manages loading equipment for transporters such as wire mesh boxes, pallets, boxes, crates, bakery baskets and much more. The loading equipment management tracks each individual loading equipment and stores in real time important data such as the location, quantity of loading equipment, time and the assigned customer or delivery vehicle. If the loading equipment is picked up from the customer, it is scanned again, then the quantity is entered and then stored in the same way as the stock.
