Mobile loading Android software COSYS

After order-related picking has been carried out and goods issue has been booked, mobile loading with Warehouse Management System WMS is the next logistical step. The warehouse processes can be modularly extended by further transport processes, such as loading onto the company´s own fleet of vehicles (COSYS Warehouse Integration in COSYS Transportation Management System). Thus, the previously recorded data can be checked for correctness at the loading ramp via SCAN and thus the last step, the loading, can be completed.

COSYS offers a comprehensive solution "COSYS Delivery Scanning" for the transport sector. The system was developed under Windows and ported to Android and has established itself as a standard solution with UGL interface, especially in the technical wholesale sector.

Loading / Loading selection

Enter the tour number and the corresponding date given to you in the fields provided and confirm with Enter.

The delivery bills associated with the tour are downloaded to the device and displayed in the list.

Optionally, individual delivery bills that are not included in the tour can be added by scanning them into the "LFS" field.

Tap the "Check" button to download the corresponding loading data for the delivery bills.

After the delivery bill check has been completed, tap "Next".

Delivery bills for which NO loading data or shipments exist in the system are highlighted in red. You can still proceed, but the corresponding delivery bills will not be taken into account in the loading and delivery process.

Loading / Loading Customer Overview

Select the customers according to your loading order by entering/scanning the customer number or selecting an entry from the list and tapping "Next".

Using the "Actions" button, it is also possible to display the corresponding details for a customer or to combine several tour stops into one (see chapter Combining tour stops).

Loading / Loading Package Overview

Scan the barcodes of the packages belonging to the customer (you will see only the packages of the respective previously selected customer). The packages can be scanned in any order.

Press "Next" when you have scanned all packages associated with a customer.

If a package cannot be loaded, leave it open. After tapping "Next", all packages that remain open will be displayed again with a red background. You must then enter a comment for all open packages using the "Edit" function.

Loading / Loading Actions Package Level

There is the possibility to choose from the following "Actions" on package level: "Compression" or package split. If you tap on one of the buttons, you will enter the corresponding action. After you have performed the desired action, you can enter the loading completion.

If you do not want to perform any of these actions, click "Complete" to go directly to the loading completion.

Loading / Loading Compaction

Scan the packages you want to compact (only the packages of the previously selected customer can be compacted).

Once you have scanned all the packages to be compacted, tap "Next".

After compaction, all packages are marked as loaded.

A loading aid, e.g. a EURO pallet, is added for compaction. This can be simply scanned or selected via DropDown.

In the list, select a package to be split into smaller units. Then tap on "Actions" and then on "Package split".

The selected package sets the "Master No." for the package (i.e. all split packages that are created are associated with this Master No.).

You can now subdivide the selected package as many times as you like by entering a number in the "Split no." field for each desired subdivision.

Loading / Loading Actions Tourstop Level

There is a possibility to choose from the following "Actions" at the tour stop level: "Merge TourStop" or "Unmerge TourStop".

Loading / Loading Summarize tour stops

Using the action "Combine TourStops", it is possible to combine several tour stops into one during loading/unloading.

By ticking the individual tour stops, you can select which and how many are to be combined into one tour stop. The tour stop that is checked first always forms the "master tour stop". The "master tour stop" can be changed afterwards via a selection in the drop-down field, if a wrong tour stop was selected first by mistake. All tour stops checked afterwards will be assigned to this one. Customer name as well as delivery address for the combined tour stop therefore correspond to the master tour stop.

Once all the tour stops have been combined, the "Finalize" button will save the assignment.

The summary of a master tour stop is done via the Actions tab and the "Un-summary" menu item.

After completion of loading/unloading, subsequent loading of further packages is no longer possible.

Transfer and backups

COSYS software offers extensive security functions for data transfer. Thanks to constant backups on the device memory, no important data can be lost. If an error occurs during data transfer, it is not so bad, the data is always available on the mobile device.

1D/2D barcode support

COSYS already supports all common barcode types in the standard version, from simple 1D barcodes (EAN-8, CODE39, ITF) to 2D codes (DataMatrix, QR code, Direct Part Marking) to the most complex code types such as DotCode, Codabar or GS1 Composite Codes.

ERP connection

COSYS software has interfaces to all known enterprise resource planning and ERP systems - from simple server-based to cloud-based ERPs. You can retrieve your data on your mobile device in the COSYS software without any problems. Even the transfer into the ERP is no problem.

COSYS has decades of experience in the creation of mobile applications. Over this period of time, numerous native and web-based applications have been developed, which are characterized by their particularly friendly usability.
