So that you can ensure optimal implementation of goods receipt, COSYS offers companies the goods receipt software solution. Thanks to mobile data capture, you can use MDE devices, smartphones and tablets to record incoming products and add them directly to your inventory.

A digital TARGET/ACTUAL comparison with the order / delivery bill ensures that the correct products have arrived in the correct quantity when the goods are scanned. The software can be connected via interface to your leading ERP system / merchandise management system in order to directly transfer captured data.

Goods receipt selection

After entering the goods receipt module in the modular software, you will see an overview of all orders and purchase orders. You can filter out the respective order using the search field based on the order number.

If an order has not yet been processed, it isred deposited. Oneorange Marking means that the order has not been completely processed yet andgreen indicates successful processing.

In this step, select the order / purchase order whose goods are just arriving at your goods receipt.

Goods receipt article overview

After you open an order, you will see the individual items it contains.

To successfully perform goods receipt, you can use mobile devices to scan the item codes on the incoming goods. If the code is not readable, you can also enter it manually.

In doing so, the COSYS software automatically checks whether the entered item belongs to the order.

After you have scanned an article in the goods receipt, a window opens with the known information. In addition to article information, the TARGET quantity is also displayed here.

Afterwards you have to enter the ACTUAL quantity via manual keyboard input. The COSYS software automatically performs a TARGET/ACTUAL comparison.

When an item with matching TARGET/ACTUAL quantity has been processed, the item will be saved ingreen is displayed. In case of quantities that do not yet match, the positionorange marked. If an item has not yet been processed at all, this item isred.

Finalize goods receipt

When all items of a purchase order / order have been processed, you can complete the goods receipt. If not all items have been processed successfully, you will be asked whether the goods receipt should still be posted.

The data is then transferred to the COSYS backend and added to the inventory.

Transfer and backups

COSYS software offers extensive security functions for data transfer. Due to constant backups on the device memory, no important data can be lost. The internal database of the device is only deleted after complete and successful transfer. Data losses are thus excluded.
