Data matrix and DPM (Direct Part Marking)
If a product or component consists of several parts, the parts list helps to determine the parts requirements. The required parts list can be extracted from the production order and used for material withdrawal. Instead of keeping many different articles in systems, the article stock can be kept dynamically and retrieved via parts lists.
Cost assignment via the assembly
Requirements planning through material withdrawal slips
Separation between individual parts and finished products.
Variants can be kept apart without introducing and maintaining many articles

Bills of material are mainly used in production, i.e. in the production withdrawal as well as in the production completion confirmation, to report order statuses to the bill of material or the production order.
The COSYS WebDesk displays the bills of materials, raw materials as well as the finished parts. Bills of materials are mostly controlled centrally via the ERP system and can be displayed in the COSYS WebDesk. Inventory planning and control logics can be easily controlled via the COSYS WebDesk.
