The COSYS Cloud is the most flexible and fastest access to COSYS applications for you. Our COSYS backend, consisting of application software COSYS WebDesk, COSYS WebService and possible interface modules, can be used easily - as Software as a Service - without high installation costs.
Combined with a COSYS MDE solution for your mobile devices, you get one, ready-to-use solution.
You can access all your master and transaction data, stored in the secure COSYS Cloud, anytime and anywhere via Internet access. This way, your mobile employees working with COSYS MDE software, no matter whether classicMDE deviceor with a smartphone, as well as back-office employees who use the COSYS WebDesk on a fixed PC or laptop, can work permanently. Working in a home office or field service is also possible without any problems with the COSYS Cloud.

COSYS WebDesk
The COSYS backend includes the COSYS WebDesk. The WebDesk is your central control element of the COSYS cloud solutions in the form of a web-based administration and post-processing software. Users, groups, rights and roles can be created and managed by you (module: Administration). Likewise, you can create and manage master data (Module: Master Data). In the respective solution-specific module you can view all transaction data with current status and optionally generate reports. Default data (master and transaction data) can be transferred to the COSYS system via interface module. Writing data back to your system at a later date is also possible. Alternatively, you can also create the data manually via the COSYS WebDesk.
COSYS WebDesk – Gerätemanagement und Updates
Another function of the COSYS WebDesk is the device management. With this, all your mobile data collection devices can be efficiently managed and settings can be made. In addition, the status of each individual MDE device can be viewed by you. For example, you can see the serial and device number, the current battery status, the last update and registration as well as the currently installed software, firmware and operating system version. The rollout and provision of updates is carried out by COSYS. If a new update is available, your MDE users will receive a notification that a new update is ready for installation when they log into the software on the mobile device. WebDesk users also receive an info as soon as a new update is available for the COSYS WebDesk. The provision of possible updates takes place directly in coordination with you, or automatically, depending on the agreed service plan.
COSYS WebDesk – Dashboards
Another highlight of COSYS WebDesk are the dashboards. You can easily generate these to get a quick overview of your data for e.g. evaluation purposes. Alternatively, report outputs are also possible in various file formats, such as .xml, .csv, .pdf or .txt.
Diverse connection and interface options to ERP or other customer systems
COSYS is experienced in connecting the COSYS backend to various customer-specific databases, data files and other ERP and customer systems.
Through a variety of different connection paths and the customer-specific adaptability of the individual interface types, COSYS offers the greatest possible flexibility in the integration of the COSYS solution into existing systems.

COSYS Cloud WebServices
= Web services: Machine-to-machine services
COSYS Cloud WebServices, as an interface module, offers you the possibility for platform-independent communication of two machines (machine-to-machine (M2M) communication).
Requests and responses of the WebService on the customer side and the COSYS WebService are continuously exchanged in an automated way. For this purpose, COSYS Cloud WebServices provide defined functions for writing and reading data to and from the COSYS backend.
Thanks to the Internet connection, the services can be used from anywhere.

COSYS File Importer/Exporter
= Custom import/export
COSYS File Importer/Exporter, as an interface module, offers you the possibility to transfer data via file. Thus, various data can be transferred e.g. as master data into the data pool or already imported data records can be updated.
In addition to the use of formats specified by COSYS, import and export formats as well as the content of data files can be defined by you in a customer-specific manner.
COSYS offers different variants for file import:
Variant A: Select file for upload
You select a file and upload it to the COSYS SFTP server. This file is then automatically saved in the COSYS directory.
Variant B: Upload file in WebDesk via upload form
You upload a file via the upload form in the COSYS WebDesk. The COSYS WebDesk saves this in the COSYS directory.

COSYS CloudSync
= database to cloud database
COSYS Cloud offers you various add-on modules for interfaces/connecting the COSYS backend to other systems.
COSYS Cloud Sync, as an interface module, offers you the possibility of database synchronization between two databases (source database and target database).
For this purpose, the COSYS CloudSync client is installed on the respective client on which the database runs in your local network. This can be e.g. a database server, but also an employee computer.
The COSYS Sync Client ensures that the data is always up-to-date and synchronized bidirectionally between the two databases as soon as someone changes something in them. So it doesn't matter whether you change something in the cloud or in the database in the local network. Thanks to COSYS CloudSync, the data is synchronized directly. A manual import/export of the data is not necessary.
With this solution, too, you have various setting options, so that you can, for example, exclude individual data from regular synchronization.

Easy synchronization of data with the COSYS Cloud between local databases or tables or other SQL-capable data sources
Automation of synchronization e.g. via Windows task scheduling or cronjobs
