COSYS Ident GmbH is a medium-sized company that has grown in the field of identification systems since 1982, has never left the roots of barcode and label scanners and today offers industry, logistics, retail and branch office specific complete solutions for almost all common business processes related to "code capture". (Barcode, 2D code, vision/camera systems, turnkey DPM (direct part marking). In addition to standardized software modules for mobile data acquisition and associated MDE devices, we also offer interface modules for various ERP systems as well as web-based communication and management software in standard modules for data processing and analysis for PC users and cloud users. The basic modules of the mobile software and the back-end software on the server can be configured for customers and their individual processes in an industry-specific manner. COSYS builds individual solutions for special requirements or customer gen requests. Both on-premise and cloud-based solutions are operated for customers and even 24/7 support is guaranteed.

COSYS currently has almost 70 workers (employees and trainees) with a low average age in relation to the age of the company. There are 3 locations: A second location (COSYS Mobilsoft) in Siegen for basic mobile software development. In 2017, another office building was acquired at the Grasdorf location to expand the total operating area from 980 m2 to 1480 m2 (including IT building, office space, warehouse and workshop). In sales, 6 employees with their respective sector focus (retail/POS, wholesale, logistics, production) take care of your needs and ensure that the project runs smoothly. Order processing is handled by 4 employees, who are also supported by the 4-person marketing and pre-sales team for customer service and new acquisitions, if necessary. 4 IT and technology project managers control the project management with the customers. The area of software development, software support and operation/maintenance of permanent solutions has a total of 19 employees and trainees. A total of 5 employees and 3 assistants work in technology (hardware, repairs, WLAN infrastructure, etc.) and COSYS logistics (shipping, device rental, etc.). Every year we work on about 80-95 customer projects consisting of a complete solution with software, hardware and services, cloud operation and maintenance/operation of the solution. In addition, we carry out numerous software developments and adaptations for existing customers, individual programming, supply hardware and consumables and repair their devices. There are also extensive long-term standard support and maintenance agreements with our customers.
