Online Order - digital reorder
Two things have to fit for production: The material has to be there and the machines have to run. The latter works most of the time, only the ability to deliver from the company´s own warehouse sometimes turns out to be the cause of the production stop. This may have to do with the fact that processes for reordering are not exactly employee-friendly: Forms have to be filled out, the purchasing department has to be contacted, the accounting department has to be contacted and bookings have to be made manually in the ERP system. With COSYS Online Order Software, your warehouse staff simply scan the item that is running low, enter the quantity to be ordered and tap "OK". COSYS software then sends the order directly to the ERP system so that the person responsible can process the reorder.
Warehouse Management Software
If Just-in-Time or Just-in-Sequence is not profitable for you, you have to rely on your own warehouse logistics. Which devices are suitable for which processes? For processes in production and in the warehouse, full-touch MDE devices with at least Android 9 are the best choice in order to be future-proof in the long term. A full-touch display allows good mobile data viewing and processing. Accessories such as holsters to quickly stow the device, hand straps for a good grip or pistol grips for quick scanning should not be neglected. Depending on how much data you cache to defy WLAN gaps, the device will need a corresponding amount of memory. And so there is a lot to consider when it comes to the right MDE hardware. Production - KANBAN
The employee specifies the storage location and scans the storage bin. He then enters the item number and types in the quantity of the reorder. At the bottom, the entered orders are clearly listed. Via the "List" icon, entered orders can be changed and deleted.

To record the demand, the employee completes the KANBAN order via the green check mark at the bottom left and confirms the booking with
Production - transport order
Transport orders are often triggered directly for or after production. Use the Transport Order module to easily determine where items or raw materials go next.
Transport orders
In the first screen, the employee sees the pending transport orders. When he enters an order, he gets to this mask for entry, scans the positions of the transport orders against and deposits the quantity. Red in the overview stands for not finished.
Article processing
When an item is finished being processed, the color changes from red to green and the software emits a sound, confirming to the employee that the item has been processed correctly.
Warehouse - Main Menu
Depending on which modules you need for your warehouse management, you will see them in the main menu. As a rule, not every employee sees every module. The shipping control may not need the goods receipt and vice versa. You define the view and rights easily in COSYS WebDesk.
Warehouse goods receipt
There are numerous functions for goods receipt: free goods receipt, only against order, only accept items from master data and so on. In this case the employee delivered an expected order and scanned one package of the delivery and only 23 pieces were delivered instead of 24. In some software versions, a reason must be given for shortages such as "too little delivered" or "damaged".
Loading
For loading, the driver scans each package or NVE. If he wants to complete the tour before all items are loaded, he receives an error message. Only tours can be started that are completely planned and where all delivery bills are available.
Photo Capture
If packages are damaged, the drivers simply take a photo. The same is also possible for depot deliveries.
Delivery
For the delivery, the driver scans all packages and thus ensures correct delivery. Finally, he obtains the customer´s signature. Above, alternative delivery types are possible, such as acceptance refused, depot delivery, etc.
Warehouse - Picking
In the first step of picking, the warehouse worker sees open or partially processed picking orders. Partially processed orders in this version are called "parked orders" according to which you can also filter. The order of the orders can be taken from ERP systems (internal priorities) or you can define them in COSYS WebDesk.
Order number
As soon as the warehouse worker enters an order, the software shows him the items it contains. Several orders can also be entered for multi-order picking. The order of the position is also not arbitrary, but sorted according to the shortest route. If the picker does not adhere to this, he receives a corresponding error message.
Inventory mask 1
The inventory software has three screens: one screen for the entry (you can see it here) and one each for the count list and the item list. In the entry the inventory takes place. Employees enter the counting place, article and quantity. The technical data at the top for the location, device number and person who entered the data are used to ensure complete traceability of the inventory: Who entered which articles with which device and where?
Inventory mask 2
Via the item list, your employees have the possibility to view entered data on the move and to delete incorrect data. In doing so, deleted articles are marked as deleted and not removed in order to have all data ready for the auditor. The function to mark articles instead of deleting them is available in the settings and can be deactivated with a tap.
Inventory mask 3
In the counting place list, the employee can delete entire counting places and enter them again, if this is necessary. Otherwise, he has here an overview of the already entered counting places with the place quantity.
