You have several manufacturing sites? COSYS software can be used across locations without any problems. To do this, you create a client for each location in our web tool, which you manage centrally and separately from the other locations. The mobile software then synchronizes only the article data and production orders from the respective location, which keeps the data cleanly separated from each other.

Warehouse management for machinery and equipment is often divided into two areas: storage of C-parts, raw materials, components and sub-assemblies, and a warehouse for finished products, sometimes with assembly halls as an intermediate area. With COSYS Goods receipt, the software automatically checks whether the delivered goods were ordered as ordered and any defects are directly documented and immediately returned to the supplier via the Returns module.
As soon as a goods receipt has been completely scanned, your ERP system is informed via COSYS interfaces that these parts have been booked and are ready for production orders. COSYS Transport Software is perfect for tracking the loading and delivery of both the goods themselves and the loading equipment (e.g. via serial numbers). This applies both to the dispatchers, who plan, control and track the tours, and to the drivers, who are guided through the loading and delivery process without errors by the COSYS intuitive app.
For the loading, the driver sees on his MDE device which tours are pending and selects one. It is possible to assign tours to drivers, so that the drivers only see the tours assigned to them. The first tour stop is always loading and contains the delivery bills from your ERP system as well as the customer data from the delivery bill header. Now the driver scans the items per delivery bill. If he makes a mistake with packages, the app reports an error.
For the delivery, the driver selects the customer to be served, and the software summarizes all delivery bills for each unloading address. A digital signature capture, which the dispatcher can also view in the backend, completes the delivery.

Production - Kanban
In its simplest form, the KANBAN solution consists of the Purchase Order and Transfer Order modules. The data transmission module remains unused in most cases, since the software sends data automatically as soon as there is a connection. The purchase order is there to trigger requirements. To initiate transport orders to or from production quickly and easily, the employee uses the "Transport order" module.
Order
For an order, the employee simply scans an article number or a KANBAN card and stores the quantity, if not already included in the barcode. The order finds its way into the ERP system via the green check mark in order to trigger repeat orders from there.
Warehouse - Online Order
In the main menu of the Online Order, the employee chooses between Enter Order or Edit Order. The data transmission module is used when there is no WLAN coverage in the warehouse and the employee sends the data manually.
Order number
As a rule, the software generates an order number or takes it from an ERP system. For this order number, the employee now records the missing goods via barcode scans and enters the quantity. At the bottom of the screen, he has an overview of the entered articles.
Warehouse - Main Menu
Depending on what you are digitizing in your warehouse, this main menu will look different. It can also differ per employee, so that the goods receiving department only sees the Goods Receiving module and perhaps also Putaway. To start a process, you simply tap with your finger on the corresponding menu item.
Warehouse - goods receipt
For a live goods receipt you need internet at the goods receipt. If this is the case, the software pulls current data such as orders from the ERP every few seconds. When new goods arrive, the employee selects the order number, scans the individual packages against it and enters the quantity, whereby the software directly recognizes and reports any deviations from the order. Alternatively, free goods receipt is also possible.
Warehouse - Picking
It is important during order picking that the orders are processed as requested by the control station and this also applies to the correct order. If you maintain internal prioritizations, the software simply takes over and shows the employee a sequence as in this screenshot. It is also possible to display only one order at a time, namely the current one.
Positions
As soon as the warehouse worker enters an order, the software shows him the contained positions. Several orders can also be entered for multi-order picking. The order of the positions is also not arbitrary, but sorted according to the shortest route. If the picker does not adhere to this, he receives a corresponding error message.
Capture
If the employee scans the correct article, the screen for capture opens. Here he sees the article text, the current storage location and the target quantity. If the target quantity deviates from the actual quantity, the software calculates the shortfall and often the reason for the deviating quantity is then a mandatory entry. You define the reasons in advance and the employee selects the appropriate one from a drop-down menu.
Transportation - Tours
The Tours module is used for loading, delivery and sometimes also load carrier registration. Tours with a red background are not yet processed.
Tour stops
When the driver opens a tour, he sees the tour stops, with the first tour stop always being Loading. To load packages, he scans all against and saves the booking. If the load is faulty or incomplete, the software visibly and audibly indicates this.
Loading
Damage has already occurred during loading? Then the driver can capture a photo of it and withdraw the position via a drop-down reason of the tour.
Delivery
Once the driver has arrived at a customer, he taps on the tour stop and sees all items for this customer. For the delivery, the positions are displayed by customer address and date and not by delivery bills. This way the driver sees all packages at a glance and the customer only has to sign once. The icons to the right of the gray fields can be used to display details of the delivery.
Transport - loading equipment management
In this view the loading equipment registration is another mask of COSYS module tours. If the driver delivers goods, he can skip this screen if no loading equipment is delivered or collected. Alternatively, there is also an extra COSYS solution purely for load carrier tracking.
