Thanks to a modular structure, a perfectly coordinated solution can be created that adapts to a wide variety of company processes.
In the case of track and trace of tobacco, it is particularly important to accompany and record all individual transport and delivery processes precisely with an MDE device.
Especially when loading or transferring goods into the car. Goods that have already been ordered and picked are loaded from the goods issue area onto the transporter / truck. For this purpose, each individual unit that is packed from the storage location into the vehicle is scanned via the pallet code. By scanning each unit individually, the quantity is thus counted to prevent manual entry.
Once at the customer´s site, delivery or even goods issue begins when the sales representative goes to the customer´s store and records the requirement there using the PDC device. To do this, he can use the "Order entry" module and scan the article numbers of the required goods and enter the required quantity. This automatically becomes an order that can be processed by the sales representative / sales driver. Once this is done, the ADM returns to his delivery vehicle and picks the required goods there. This is done by scanning a DataMatrixCode or DotCode of each individual unit. Now the tobacco products can be delivered to the store, where the retailer is already waiting for the goods. One signature on the digital delivery bill later, it is automatically transferred to the central EU database.
